Walk/Cycle to School Day - Wednesday 7th June 2023

As a healthy school that is committed to safer and sustainable travel, we would like to encourage the whole school community to walk or cycle for the journey to and from school on Wednesday, 7th June. It is an ideal opportunity to catch up on their day and the fresh air and exercise will mean they are more ready to learn on arrival in school. If you need to drive, please try and park a short distance away from the school and use the park and stride (Location: St. Mary’s Church car park).

Our sports day is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 14th June weather permitting.

The event will take place during school and is a student only event. It is an opportunity for students to showcase their talents to other students in our school.

Please read the following points below carefully.

  • May is the month that the student can practice their talent that they would like to perform.
  • Practice strictly takes place at home. Teachers will NOT be facilitating school time for your child to practice. Practice takes place outside of school hours.
  • Auditions will take place from the 29th-2nd of June. Auditions are held to ensure your child is ready for the show on the 16th and to make sure they are comfortable and able to perform in front of others. This is not to eliminate students but to offer them feedback on how to improve their act and assess their readiness for performing in front of others.
  • Students are allowed to perform in groups provided they practice in their own time.
  • There are no winners or losers in this Talents Show. Please encourage your child to get involved.
